FAQ:

Why does a baby bong suit on the go use?

This baby bong is your perfect travel buddy due to it’s small size and portability. It’s really discreet and can be tucked away in your jacket pocket or bag, especially when you are away from home. Despite the baby glass bong bart’s small size, it still delivers smooth and cool hits due to the smoke filtered through the water chamber which will also help reduce the throat hit. Small baby bongs are also a lot easier to clean and maintain compared to larger bongs, which is important for ensuring clean pure hits in future sessions. How does a baby bong compare to small or medium bongs?

A baby bong is around 15cm in height and has a glass base whereas a small bong is about 20cm in height and a medium bong is roughly 25cm tall – small and medium bongs usually have a rubber base. Other than size, baby bongs usually deliver a harsher punch compared to small and medium bongs as there is less water to filter the smoke – you will experience a deeper herb flavour but it will be slightly harsher. Baby bongs cannot be customised like larger bongs with a double chamber – it is used as is. Baby bongs are super portable and can be taken pretty much anywhere whereas small and medium bongs can also be taken with you but are a bit bulkier and are better suited to home use or gatherings. Baby bongs are best for solo use where small and medium bongs work well in group sessions or when sharing with someone else.

How much water do I put into a baby bong?

When filling the water chamber of a baby bong, put in just enough water to submerge the bottom of the stem. If the stem is not submerged, then the smoke will not be filtered and will be as harsh as smoking from a pipe, if you put too much water in the chamber, you risk water coming up the stem or from the mouthpiece (depending on how much water is in the chamber and how hard you pull).

How to use a baby bong correctly for beginners?

A baby bong is a great starting point for beginners, it is relatively easy to use and inexpensive to get going. Follow these simple steps to get started and to get the most from your baby bong:

  • Set up your bong along with all accessories on a flat surface to avoid any spills or knocks
  • Fill the water chamber with enough water to submerge bottom of the stem
  • Grind your herb to a medium consistency – grab a quality grinder to help you from our range: https://www.mybongshop.com.au/collections/grinders
  • Pack the cone with herb but not too tightly as this could restrict the air flow
  • Cover the carb hole with your finger
  • Burn the herb with a flame at the top of the cone while inhaling but move the flame around slightly to achieve an even burn
  • After you have finished burning the herb, remove your finger from the carb hole and inhale the rest

Why are Pyrex glass bongs a better choice than plastic bongs?

Glass is naturally non-porous compared with plastic which means dirt and grime will not get stuck in the pores of the glass, this is healthier as bacteria will not grow over time as it can do with plastic and also the flavour of your smoke is preserved as dirt and grime from past sessions will not be present. Unlike plastic, glass is heat and flame-resistant meaning that toxic fumes will not be released if heated or in contact with a flame. Plastic bongs cannot accommodate percolators or advanced filtration systems like Pyrex glass can, this helps with cooling the smoke and thus provides an easier to inhale session – the more advanced the filtration system, the cooler your smoke!
